White began his professional career with the Washington Bullets (now Wizards) before knee injuries derailed his NBA trajectory. White then joined Nike as a field representative, ultimately playing a founding role in the rise the brand known worldwide as Air Jordan. White has since become Nike’s primary liaison for several NBA and NFL superstars. After working as Nike’s Director of Athletic Relations, where he was responsible for fostering positive relationships with Nike’s premier athletes, White was promoted to Vice President for the Jordan Brand. White also founded Nike’s “Believe to Achieve” program, an innovative traveling seminar designed to encourage adults to mentor and inspire the needed confidence in youth to build the road to success.
